Partial wall collapse in Astoria prompts evacuations

ASTORIA (WABC) -- A partial wall collapse in Astoria forced evacuations in Queens Tuesday night.

It happened in the basement of a vacant home on 41st Street.

As a precaution, homes on both sides of the house have been evacuated.

No injuries have been reported.

Investigators from Con Edison and Department of Buildings are assessing the situation.
