Many end up being unsung heroes. But in Tuesday's blizzard, there are some acts of kindness or humanity we just couldn't let go without some recognition.
Here's what we found:
1. If and when you get stuck in the snow, people are quick to jump in to help:

2. When you need more than a push, the big guns will come out to assist:
3. When the wind got too strong in Brooklyn, a man jumped in to make sure a woman made it across the street safely:

4. NYPD officers even pitched in to make sure no one slipped as they walked to the subway:

5. When the newly-added "Fearless Girl" statue was about to get its first taste of winter, New Yorkers made sure she had some cover:
6. And last but not least, we do have to give credit to the people who braved their way through the snow so that the rest of us could cope through it. These wine shop workers made sure those who needed a glass, were able to get one:
