Homeless man found dead inside box trailer in Brooklyn

CONEY ISLAND (WABC) -- Police are investigating the death of a homeless man whose body was found early Sunday in a box trailer in Brooklyn.

At about 3 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call for an unconscious male in front of 1523 Neptune Avenue in Coney Island.

They found a 45 year-old man inside the trailer unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS responded to the scene and transported him to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The investigation is ongoing and Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

The victim's identity has not yet been released.
