Man attempts to abduct girl, 10, in Boonton, New Jersey

BOONTON (WABC) -- A warning has gone out to parents in New Jersey after police say a man tried to abduct a 10-year old girl.

Boonton police say a man in a black Lincoln town car approached the girl on Cedar Street Tuesday evening just before 5.

He grabbed her arm, according to police, but the child got away.

The driver is said to be in his 20's, about 5'9".

He was wearing a black t-shirt with an image of a skull on it, and had a blacka mask over his face.
