Man wanted for Brooklyn attempted rape turns himself into police

BAY RIDGE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A man wanted for an attempted rape in Brooklyn has turned himself into police.

Emmanuel Martinez-Hernandez is charged with attempted rape and sexual abuse.

Police believe he is the same man caught on camera near the scene of the attack on August 25th.

A Good Samaritan chased the suspect after wrestling him off of the victim.
