BROOKLYN, New York (WABC) -- A cat that survived a vicious beating at a Brooklyn restaurant in March is looking for a loving home.

The cat, now named Fulton, has recovered after being brutally flung against the wall and a table at the New People's Restaurant.

Zaid Salah was arrested for felony animal cruelty in the incident. He is due back in court on May 11 for a hearing to determine if he is fit to stand trial.

Anyone interested in adopting Fulton should go to the ASPCA Adoption Center on 92nd Street, call (646) 291-4500 or go to www.aspca.org.
