NYPD searching for two men in road rage shooting in Meatpacking District

MEATPACKING DISTRICT, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police have released surveillance photos of two suspects wanted in a shooting that stemmed from a case of road rage in Manhattan.

A man was shot December 8th after getting into a fender bender in the Meatpacking District.

The 27-year-old man crashed into another vehicle at Gansevoort Street and Hudson Street just after 4 a.m.

The man had just left a nearby club when he got into the minor crash. He got out of his vehicle, and a person in the other vehicle opened fire on him, according to police.

The victim was shot in the right arm and right hip. He drove to West 14th and Washington streets, where he called police.

The gunman and another man fled the scene in a gray minivan.

Police say the shooter was wearing a light sweater and a white hat, while the other man, described as a person of interest, was wearing a light sweater with a hood.
