3-year-old Chicago child impaled on gate after falling from window

CHICAGO (WABC) -- A 3-year-old is seriously injured after falling out of a first floor window Monday night.

The child was impaled on a gate outside the home near 71st and Emerald in Englewood, officials said.

The child was rushed to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition.
