6-year-old girl tumbles from brownstone window in Brooklyn

COBBLE HILL, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A 6-year-old girl is in the hospital in stable condition after she tumbled out a window in Brooklyn on Wednesday night.

Police say the girl fell from a second-floor window while she was playing in a three-story brownstone on Warren Street in Cobble Hill.

There were no window guards in place, but the girl's mother was home at the time.

She was taken to Lutheran Hospital after the fall.

At this point police are investigating this incident as an accident.
