Clifton gas station attendant in hospital after trying to stop robbery

CLIFTON (WABC) -- A gas station attendant is in the hospital after he apparently tried to stop a robbery in New Jersey.

It appears the attendant was dragged and then run over Sunday morning in Clifton by a car driven by one of three robbery suspects.

A group of eyewitnesses had to lift a car off of the man. They say he was badly hurt.

Three men were seen running from the car - two of them have been arrested.
