NEW YORK -- The 71st annual Columbus Day Parade, sponsored by the Columbus Citizens Foundation, brought together 35,000 marchers, including over 100 groups, bands, floats and dignitaries participating in the annual fall rite in New York City celebrating Italian heritage. This year, the Grand Marshal is Alberto Cribiore, Vice Chairman of Citi Institutional Group. Honorees include Guy Chiarello, President of First Data, Aldo Verrelli, President of A Verrelli and Associates and the Humanitarian Award to Stefani Germanotta, aka Lady Gaga, and her mother Cynthia for their work with the Born This Way Foundation.
