Auto repair shop destroyed by massive fire

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- More than 160 firefighters worked to control a massive fire in Brooklyn.

Firefighters were called to the scene on Atlantic Avenue just after 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Video from Citizen App showed heavy smoke and flames pouring out of the building in Cypress Hills Saturday morning.

Eyewitness News is told the fire started in a single-story auto repair shop.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced New York is moving away from the Tri-State Travel Advisory and will now require people coming to the state to test negative.

The roof partially collapsed after firefighters arrived and began working to control the blaze.

A full stop work order has been issued for an under-construction Midtown Manhattan high-rise after a spinning crane sent large chunks of debris falling to the street below.

Three firefighters were being treated for injuries described as minor sprains and strains.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
