Police using tattoo to identify mystery woman found dead in Gravesend, Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are trying to identify a woman found dead in Brooklyn.

An unidentified woman was found unconscious near Shore Parkway and 26th Avenue. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

She is believed to be 25 to 45 years old. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

The woman has a tattoo on her right leg. Investigators believe the name written within the heart and rose on the tattoo is "Monique."
