Long Island man accused of DWI, driving into neighbor's home

LAKE RONKONOOMA (WABC) -- A man is charged with drunk driving after police say he crashed his car into his neighbor's Long Island house.

Police say 20-year old Dallas Vadala lost control of his 2010 Hyundai Sonata early Sunday morning on Lakeside Drive, and drove onto the lawn and through the front door of the home on Campus Lane in Lake Ronkonkoma.

Two people were inside at the time, but no one was hurt in the crash.

Vadala lives next door, police say. He was arrested at the scene and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
