EAST MEADOW, L.I. (WABC) -- A Nassau County man faces several criminal charges after allegedly pointing guns at police.
Officers went to the home of 49-year old Jason Wissel on Friday after a neighbor said Wissel threatened to shoot him in an altercation over a parking situation.
When Wissel aimed two rifles at them, police say, the officers fired but he was not hit.
The officers arrested him after a brief struggle.
He was treated for minor injuries.
During a search of the home authorities say several weapons and a cache of ammunition was secured, invoiced for safe keeping and further investigation.
Wissel is charge with two counts of Menacing 2nd Degree and three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
