EAST VILLAGE (WABC) -- A meeting was held Thursday night for people who lost their homes in the explosion and fire in the East Village.

Local lawmakers and agency officials were on hand at St. Marks Church answering questions.

66 apartments are under vacate orders and 15 of those don't exist anymore.

Many residents are wondering when they'll get back into their homes, while others want to know where their stuff went.

Officials say some residents will be back in their homes soon, but others may have to wait several months.
