Sandra Lee makes first public appearance since double mastectomy at Emmys

LOS ANGELES (WABC) -- At the Emmys on Sunday night, TV chef Sandra Lee made her first public appearance since having a double mastectomy.

The girlfriend of Governor Andrew Cuomo had some complications after having the surgery in May.

In a statement, her spokeswoman said Lee has not had reconstruction surgery, but, "she is hopeful, and the dress makes that statement."
