FDR crash involving police cruiser leaves car overturned, 3 hurt

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- A crash on the FDR Drive in Midtown left a car overturned, three people hurt and snarled traffic Friday.

The accident happened in the northbound lanes at 42nd Street around 11:50 a.m.

One victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries, while the other two were considered minor.

Two northbound lanes were closed for the investigation and cleanup, backing up traffic, while southbound travel was hindered by rubbernecking delays.
