NEW YORK (WABC) -- The FDR resurfacing project will resume Monday night through next Saturday.
The New York City Department of Transportation says repair work is scheduled to happen each week during the overnight hours and continue for several months.
The repairs will be done on various sections of the highway and will involve one or more intermittent lane closures each night.
Next week, sections of the FDR will remain milled and rough road conditions may exist during day and night time until Saturday, October 17.
The work zone includes the southbound section of the FDR Drive from East 48th St to 42nd St. from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
During this project, motorists should anticipate delays in the vicinity of the work zones.
All work is weather dependent.
