NYPD makes huge fireworks bust in raid on Queens garage

OZONE PARK (WABC) -- The NYPD made a huge fireworks bust in Queens.

Officials at the 106th Precinct say officers seized more than 100 cases of illegal fireworks during a raid on a garage in Ozone Park.

Investigators say the fireworks had a street value of about $100,000.

They also arrested a 30-year old man accused of selling the illegal material.

The bomb squad safely detonated the fireworks.
