Family left homeless after fire engulfs home in Franklin Park

FRANKLIN PARK (WABC) -- A family is left homeless after a fire engulfed a home in Franklin Park, New Jersey

The fire broke out Saturday morning before 11 a.m. on Marco Polo Ct.

The heat of the fire was so intense that it melted the siding on two neighboring houses. The structure opf the neighboring houses are still intact.

Fortunately, everyone escaped safely. The family who lives at the location is staying with relatives.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
