Garbage truck crashes into scaffolding on Lower East Side

LOWER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- A sanitation department vehicle crashed into scaffolding on the Lower East Side Monday morning.

The city sanitation vehicle struck the scaffolding at Broome Street and Allen Street just before 8:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
