Gas prices continue to drop as drivers line-up

CLIFTON, N.J. (WABC) -- Drivers are lining up bumper to bumper not on the roadways, but at the gas pump for prices we haven't seen in years.

They were lined up at the Costco in Clifton, New Jersey on Wednesday morning where drivers are willing to wait because regular unleaded is just $1.69 right now.

The national average stood at $2.12 a gallon Tuesday, according to AAA, the lowest in nearly 6 years.
