4 soldiers injured when humvee crashes on New Jersey Turnpike

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP (WABC) -- Four soldiers suffered injuries when their humvee crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Investigators say the humvee driver lost control of the vehicle after being clipped by a car changing lanes in Chesterfield Township on Saturday night.

The humvee was at the end of a military convoy from Fort Drum. IT was traveling to another base for training exercises.

One of the soldiers suffered serious injuries.

Police have not filed any charges in the crash.
