Infant found dead in Washington Houses apartment

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A medical examiner will determine the death Friday of a 1-month-old.

Around 8:15 p.m. Friday, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious baby in the 1800 block of Second Avenue at the Washington Houses.

They found a 1-month-old Deon McNeil, conscious inside an apartment. He was taken to Metropolitan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
