3 injured in late night shooting at Jersey Shore; suspect at large

LONG BRANCH, N.J. (WABC) -- Police are searching for a gunman who shot three people near the Jersey Shore.

Investigators said someone opened fire on Coleman avenue in Long Branch, around 9:30 Wednesday night.

One person was shot several times and is in serious condition. Two others have non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives closed the street and removed shell casings from the scene.
