College professor's parting gift: A heartfelt Justin Bieber parody

If there's one thing that college professor Clint Tuttle wants his students to remember, it's the importance of Microsoft Excel. And Tuttle knew just the way to convey that message: A Justin Bieber song.

To round out the last class of the spring 2016 semester, Tuttle, a lecturer at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, performed a song called "Learn Excel" to the tune of Bieber's "Love Yourself." In a video the school posted to Facebook, the students can be heard giggling and eventually singing along as Tuttle jams out on the guitar.

The lyrics included gems like "Those nested ifs will come in handy you'll see," and "Cause if you want to get the skills you need, Oh, baby, you should go and learn Excel."

Judging by the laughter in the video and the number of views (more than a million), Tuttle's rendition was a hit with both the students and the Internet.

This is hardly Tuttle's first foray into the world of academic-themed parodies and lecture hall performances. He has been performing on the last day of class since his first semester at UT in 2011, he shared on YouTube, when he sang the theme song for "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." He's performed parodies of songs like Lorde's "Royals" and Adele's "Hello."
