Woman finds kidney inside her KFC box
DENVER, NC -- A woman was taken by surprise during a recent visit to KFC.
Lucy Parker-Randall says she ordered a thigh and a leg at the restaurant in North Carolina. When she took a bite, she looked down inside the box and saw something strange.

KFC says the nasty-looking piece was a kidney that somehow made its way into her meal.
Parker-Randall posted about the ordeal on her Facebook.
In a statement, KFC says this happens occasionally and that the kidney got by workers during the prep inspection process.
"While there was no health risk, we agree it was not appetizing," the company says.
Parker-Randall has hired an attorney.
