Lane on George Washington Bridge inbound lower level temporarily closed

The right lane of the George Washington Bridge inbound lower level is temporarily closed because of a car fire.

The car fire is on the lower level, at about midspan. A previous accident has been cleared.

The burned-out car is there and a tow truck is at the scene.

The upper level is open is experiencing a 40-minute delay due to diverted traffic.
