2 missing after boat sinks in Long Island Sound

Two people are missing after a boat sank in the Long Island Sound.

Three people on the boat were rescued near Cockenoe Island, which is part of Westport.

A boater spotted one of them standing on a buoy around 4 p.m. Sunday. Two others were in the water.

It is not clear what type of boat they were on or why it sank.
