A face paint artist is using the tricks of her trade to transform into characters from popular movies, TV shows and video games.
Elsa Rhae, a video editor by trade, began making videos of her incredible transformations about a year ago. She says she has no professional training beyond taking a stage make-up class as an elective during her last semester of school.

Rhae uses face paint and conventional make-up to recreate the looks of characters from video games like Mortal Combat and Halo, as well as television shows and movies like "Game of Thrones" and "The Dark Knight." The looks can take anywhere from 30 minutes to four hours to complete.
She posts timelapse videos of the transformations on YouTube and photos of the finished looks on Instagram and Facebook.
