MENDHAM, New Jersey (WABC) -- Two Mendham police officers were injured when their police cruiser crashed with a semi-trailer truck in New Jersey.
It happened at Corey Lane and Mendham Road around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The two officers and the truck driver were taken to an area hospital. The truck driver was not injured.
"Both are fine young men. Again, they are in relatively stable condition. Time will tell, but they are banged up pretty bad, and I expect positive results," said Chief Steven Crawford, of the Mendham Township Police Department.
There is an active investigation underway.
It's not yet known what caused the crash.
