BRONX (WABC) -- A man was killed in a motorcycle accident in the Bronx.
Around 5 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a collision on the southbound Major Deegan Expressway at Brook Avenue.
According to the New York City Police Department, a Mercedes-Benz sedan, driven was southbound on the Deegan. The motorcycle was behind it.
As the Mercedes slowed down in traffic, the motorcyclist was thrown from his bike, and hit the Mercedes.
The motorcyclist was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Mercedes refused medical attention on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
