HALESITE, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police in Suffolk County are searching for a man with Alzheimer's disease who is missing from his Long Island home.
92-year old Laszlo "Leslie" Tar was last seen Friday at his home on Cliftwood Drive in Halesite.
Authorities say he may be in New York City.
Tar is a respected artist, whose watercolors have hung in museums around the world.
Police believe he is wearing a royal blue polo shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
He is described as a white male with gray hair, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about his location to call 911 or contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8243.
