FORT GREENE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A deadly car crash case in Brooklyn resulted in a mistrial on Thursday.
The mistrial was declared in the manslaughter case against Marlon Sewell because of something a juror allegedly said.
According to the Brooklyn district attorney, the juror said that they "Didn't want to send another black man to jail."
Sewell is accused of driving his SUV onto a sidewalk in Fort Greene in 2015, killing Victoria Nicodemus.
He was driving with a suspended license when his SUV allegedly jumped the curb while he was avoiding a bus.
The retrial is set to begin in late November.
