LOWER MANHATTAN, New York (WABC) -- The NYPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man whose body was found in the East River on July 4, and they're hoping a sketch will help.
The body was found floating in the river near East 6th Street and the FDR Drive around 8 a.m.
He is described as a man in his 40s wearing gray sneakers, blue jeans and a black Casio G Shock watch.
