One man was killed and four other people were wounded in a shooting at a zombie-themed street festival in Florida.

The Fort Myers Police Department said the shooting happened at ZombiCon about 11:45 p.m. Saturday. The gunman remains at large.

Police told ABC affiliate WZVN-TV in Fort Myers the four people who were injured suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police said 20,000 people were expected to attend ZombiCon, described on its website as a "zombie-themed music and art fest"

Zombicon issued a statement about the incident on its Facebook page, saying: "The organizers of Zombicon, Pushing DaiZies, Inc. are deeply saddened by the news of what happened within the footprint of our event. We take the safety of our patrons very seriously and take precautions in hiring security and police officers for our annual event.
