Bronx attempted car theft leaves police officer injured

BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for three people wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery in the Bronx.

Around 6 p.m. on Sept. 26, two of three suspects entered a 2003 Ford Suburban that was parked in front of 1135 Southern Blvd. As they started to drive away in it, a man tried to stop them by holding onto the vehicle's door. It then hit a marked New York City Police Department car.

The suspects then fled on foot, police said. The officers inside the police vehicle suffered minor injuries.
