Fairview fire guts bus

FAIRVIEW (WABC) -- Firefighters responded to the scene of a fire that gutted a bus in New Jersey late Wednesday morning.

The incident happened on Fairview Avenue in Fairview around 11:30 a.m.

Crews had to battle hot spots after extinguishing the flames, and smoke poured from the burned out vehicle.

It is believed that the bus hit a utility pole and caught fire.

No injuries were reported.
