Car crashes into home in North Amityville

AMITYVILLE, N.Y. (WABC) -- A car crashed into the side of a North Amityville house Friday morning, jolting the family inside.

The driver crashed into the Matthew Drive house at around 5:15 a.m.

The crash woke up the three residents of the home. They were uninjured.

A female driver and her passenger were walking around after the wreck, and were taken to the hospital.

No charges were immediately filed.
