Owner of pit bulls caught attacking another dog may get dogs back

NEW JERSEY (WABC) -- The owner of two pit bulls that viciously attacked another dog in New Jersey may soon get his dogs back.

The pit bulls were caught on police dash cam attacking a dog that was out for a walk with his owner in Glen Ridge.

"Griffin" was seriously hurt, but he survived.

The owner of the pit bulls was charged with dog running at large, and owning a potentially dangerous dog. He was fined less than $100. He can get the dog back if he meets certain requirements.
