Woman critically hurt after being struck by van on 5th Avenue in Manhattan

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a van in Manhattan Monday morning.

The accident happened along Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron district.

Police say the 51-year-old woman was struck by a van that was turning from East 21st Street to Fifth Avenue just before 9 a.m.

She was taken to Bellevue Hospital.

The driver stopped at the scene. No charges have been filed.
