BROOKVILLE, Queens (WABC) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left two men dead inside a car in Queens on Friday.
According to authorities, gunfire struck a car with four passengers, including two men, a woman and a boy around 11:45 a.m.
They say the two men were killed in the shooting that appears to be gang related.

One was the boy's father, who was in the front passenger seat, and the other was the woman's 26-year-old boyfriend, who was driving.
The two men were identified Saturday as Nair Vives and Angel Caraballo, both 26 years old.
It's not clear if the car was parked or if it was moving at the time of the shooting. The vehicle was a green Nissan Maxima.
Police found shell cases by Brookdale Boulevard.
They say the vehicle only made it about a block down Rockaway Boulevard before veering into oncoming traffic and crashing on the side of the road.
According to authorities, the driver was shot in the chest and the passenger was shot in the head. Both were pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
The 20-year-old woman and the 4-year-old boy were in the backseat and were not seriously harmed but remain in the hospital at this time.
"Today is a tragedy. We have two people who are dead and we can't ignore the continued and repeated connection between violence and parole," Assistant Chief Ruben Beltran said. "Far too often individuals on parole are either victims of crimes or committed crimes. Thank god the innocent child in the rear seat was not seriously injured or worse."
Police say both of the men had gang affiliations and the driver had recently been released from prison on gun charges.
There were a lot of traffic backups in the area while police continue to investigate.
Police are looking for suspects.
There is no word yet on where the gunfire came from.
