Large fire destroys home in Far Rockaway, Queens

FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens (WABC) -- Crews battled a large fire that broke out inside a home in Queens on Tuesday night.

Officials say the fire started at 35 Van Brunt Rd. between Cross Bay Boulevard and Dead End in Far Rockaway just after 10 p.m.

Over 60 units and nearly 200 fire and EMS personnel responded to the third-alarm fire.

No injuries have been reported.
