Raccoon hitches ride on alligator in Florida

OCALA, Fla. (WABC) -- No, you are not seeing things - a raccoon hitched a ride on an alligator in Florida.

Richard Jones says his family was walking through the Ocala National Forest on Saturday, when his son startled a raccoon. The raccoon then stumbled toward the water, and hopped on top of the gator.

Jones snapped the amazing photo just in time.

The raccoon soon scurried back to land as the gator dipped below the forest.
