ROSLYN, Long Island (WABC) -- The Health Department in Nassau County is investigating a mystery illness at a popular banquet hall on Long Island.
The Swan Club in Roslyn will remain closed for several days so crews can get in there and clean.
The Health Department got several calls from people saying they got sick after an event there last weekend.
More than 100 people were sick within the last few days with symptoms including fever, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, and cramping.
Health Department staff says workers at the club are fully cooperating.
Right now, testing is underway in a lab to isolate the source.
This is still in the early stages of the investigation.
An employee inside the building told Eyewitness News that staff members are working on a statement to release to the public.
They said the general manager would not talk to Eyewitness News on camera about the issue.
