4 injured in crash involving sanitation truck in Queens

LAURELTON, Queens (WABC) -- Police are investigating a crash involving a sanitation truck and two cars on the Belt Parkway in Queens Saturday night.

The truck flipped onto its side and both cars have extensive damage.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes near Francis Lewis Boulevard shortly before 8:30.

Four people were injured, one of them seriously.
