Long Island man shot to dead by man in home

BAY SHORE, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting Friday night at a home on Long Island.

An man went to the door of a home on North Gardiner Drive. When the resident answered, the suspect walked in. Another resident of the home, James Creekmore, 41, returned home at that point and when he walked in, Creekmore was shot.

The suspect fled the scene around 10 p.m.
