Shooting in Orange, New Jersey leaves 1 dead, 3 hurt

ORANGE, New Jersey (WABC) -- Prosecutors say a shooting in northern New Jersey left one person dead and three others wounded.

Gunfire broke out just before 10 p.m. Thursday in Orange on Taylor Street.

According to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, Davon Jones, 17, of Orange, was shot and taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The three other victims all suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds. They were treated at area hospitals, according to the prosecutor's office.

Investigators didn't disclose what led up to the shooting.

The investigation continues and no arrests have been made.
