SOHO, Manhattan (WABC) -- Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at a six-story apartment building in SoHo Sunday morning.
The fire broke out at about 5:30 a.m. in the back of the building on Thompson Street.
Flames spread through the entire top floor of the residential building and through the roof.
More than 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, and placed it under control by 8 a.m.
Neighbors saw the smoke and ran over to help get people out of the building.
All the residents got out safely. Two firefighters and one resident suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
